Navigation Voice Volume
In all my other cars the music gets softer when the turn by turn voice prompts come up and are spoken by the voice giving direction. I noticed today that in my wife's 2013 GS350, the radio volume did not decrease when the voice prompts from the navigation were spoken. Is there a setting for this?
she speaks in a crisp clear voice,,, never noticed the volume decrease when she spoke. i have the HUD so i really don't pay to much attention when she speaks b/c everything is right in front of me. the nav projects on the HUD screen.
I agree, my Audi seemed to dim the sound when nav spoke--that and the volume switch would turn up the nav voice if dialing it while nav was speaking. With Lexus, one has to go deep into the menus to change nav volume (*at least to the best of my knowledge).
anybody else?
i was listening to music last night at around 35-40 volume and could barely hear the navigation prompts, the volume for voice was set to 6, i increased to 7 but doubt that will be substantial enough to make it hearable.
even though you see the directions on the screen, a little weird how the music volume doesn't go down during prompts.

I think you're stuck with it. When the music is low I can hear the nav voice fine, but when the music volume is high (which it usually is) I can barely hear the nav voice. I can still see the turns on the screen and on HUD, so that works for me.

You have HUD on your LS???? Cause unless something changed, GS, HS and RX are the only Lexus's to offer HUD. Or do you have a GS too?
