Don't worry about that. By the time that's actually implemented, manuals will have been banned, and computer driven cars will be mandated. I know a few cities around me have banned, "cruising," so driving without a destination = offence of some sort.

It's very useful to record the actual situation should one be in an accident, especially if you're the one rear-ending the other party and you're not at fault. Without something like this, it's very hard to prove that the other party is at fault.
Funny how both of the vids are in taiwan...

Actually in Taiwan the majority in car cams that you see are not built in...

However it is so popular that they gift the unit when you make a purchase...

We need CAR people in government instead of these wackos that don't appreciate the fun of driving

I agree...

Though on a personal level, I remember the neighbors from my old home saying, "noise regulations impede on my personal freedom of enjoying my car."

If he didn't like cruising at random hours of the day, or if his car wasn't loud enough to wake up the entire block, I would of agreed.

As it stands, I believe whatever, "car persons," are chosen, better be the right kind, not just some person who loves adding fart cans to old Honda Civics (or in my neighbors case, old American cars with no sort of noise suppression, whatsoever).

The way the human race are structuring their system, we should expect cameras in every cars - eventually.
