Question re Backlight Shade - Gap at Top?

I have the gap and consider it an included "feature".

I guess that was a bad choice of words. I can see through my gap as well, but as far as blocking out the sun...that it does just fine. What I meant by reflection is depending on where the sun is in the sky the gap can look bigger or smaller depending on how much sunlight is on the top of the sunshade runner. Hopefully that's a bit clearer?

Ok, so I checked out the gap issue, and noticed if you get out of the car the gap goes all the way across the top. It is just our angle when sitting in the drivers seat that make it appear that it is just in the middle.
