Guys and Gals, anyone know where to get a set of Ceramic Brake Pads for the 4th generation? The OEM dust is KILLING ME! I changed the OEM on my BMW 550 to Ceramic Pads and LOVED THEM! They stopped on a dime and the dust was no word of a lie 95% better! I would not notice dust on the wheel for days, where the dust on the 350F I notice in literally minutes.

Any locate for Ceramic Pads that will fit?

Thanks!

My brake dust problem really isn't that bad either. I see a little on the two front wheels, but not much. Back ones are always shiny.

Thanks guys: Touch the wheels with your finger and let me know how black they are. The color of the wheel helps, but the black soot is there guaranteed! If you do not wash them by hand every few washes the soot will remain and then eat away at the clear coat of the rim.

seal your rims with one of the new high tech nanopolymer coatings and that will help too.

Armor All has a product called Keep Clean Wheel that you can spray on and wipe off. It keeps the brake dust from accumulating. I used it on my Audi S5, as did several other owners in the Audi forums, and it works. The only thing is that it takes almost a bottle to coat 4 wheels, but it is still cheaper than ceramic pads.

I will check this out for sure. Still, once you try Ceramic you dont want to go back to OEM!! If anyone finds a ceramic for the 2013 please let me know.

Brake dust is really bad for me too! I changed to ceramic pads on my 7 series and it helped a lot. I am trying to think who I got them through.

It's all relative. Coming from an '08 IS-F, my GS-350 is showing absolutely no dust whatsoever.

Ok so on my BWM 745 I had a huge brake dust problem so a lot of guys over on those forums recommended Akebono pads. I did in fact buy some and they were great. The dust was 95% less and I felt almost as good as stopping power.

My problem is since our car is so new I cannot find any pads listed for year 2013. Maybe someone here can find me a link.

Mine is pretty bad as well. I always have to clean my front wheels after driving it around for one day. Please let us know when anyone finds some good ceramic brake pads.

Okay, I'm in too. I wash the wheels twice as often as I wash the car. The graphite wheels look nice when they are shiny but just plain dull when they're not.

Found out through Lexus that the only other model that uses the same pads as the 350F is the 2013 GS450h, which does not do us any good because there are no aftermarket pads for that model either! Seems Lexus did a complete change to the system, so we cannot try to match the pads with other later models. Thought I would give it a try. We will just have to wait...Bummer.
