Text message setting??

On page 528 of owner's manual, it shows message setting for handling phone text messages. I can't seem to be able to find it. I looked everywhere, Phone setup, Bluetooth setup, etc and couldn't find it. Any idea?

I heard about this as well. My understanding is that it only works with certain phones, I think Blackberries? I have an iPhone and don't think it applies to that, but if it does that would be great. Siri on the 4S works through the bluetooth connection but you have to activate it on the iPhone.

I believe it is only for certain blackberries with a specific app on the phone

The read text message/email feature is only available for phones that have the MAP bluetooth profile. My HTC EVO 4G does not and therefore can't take advantage of this. The iphone and many other phones on the market also lack this profile so you're just out of luck unless there is some kind of update.

It needs bluetooth with MAP profile. However it has been confirmed Motorola Droid doesnt work even it has MAP. My Samsung Galaxy SII works though.

Works on my Samsung Galaxy S2 work phone, but not on my iPhone. I would have though it would have been fully integrated with the iPhone, but i guess not...

Not a matter of integration, with Apples obsessive need to control all aspects, it doesn't support/allow the necessary MAP protocol
