Default Update on Auto AC Problem

Just got an email from my dealer that a fix is available for the auto AC problem discussed in other threads. The dealer will replace the "air conditioner amplifier" and told me they will have the new part by next week. Check with your dealer if you are experiencing this issue.

Please keep me update. I have the same issue and I don't want to tear down the whole dash to replace the controller things.

Mine seems to have corrected itself. Would this be one of those things that the car tracks how you use it and adjusts accordingly?

I'd say that it depends on the ambient temperature outdoors...as mine seems to act up on mornings when it is ~50F outside...

I have this same problem and brought it up to my service guy and like the op, they are ordering for me an amplifier for the climate control. I also brought up the auto control of the heated seats and they said its on a timer and cannot fix that. The heat turns itself off after 10-15 minutes which is frustrating when I like it on all the time.

What happened to ...we have driven this car over 1,000,000 miles? I know Shat happens but thought this one would rear its head during their road tests? Assuming, I guess, car was driven in normal conditions (ie using the A/C)?
