TPMS Display

I'm curious if Lexus identifies the tire position now as it displays the tire pressure on the 4GS. Only the tire pressure is displayed in my '10 LS.

.. It now does in the 2013 GS ....

Please explain more. What is this tire position? Is this related to alighment of the wheels?

Husker,

My GS F-Sport felt a bit choppy at highway speeds with those high tire pressure which was recommended. I decreased it to 33/33 F/R and its much more planted and smoother with great road feel in normal and Sport + mode. Otherwise that pressure you are using is only if you have 4-5 people including cargo with speeds greater than 100 mph.

Interesting....

That's how the dealer set it. Did you have to reset your TPMS? How do you do that?

The great thing about this TPMS is that no beeping at that pressure until around 28 psi. The dealers are now putting pressure down for customers given the firmer bridgestone turanza tires so it is very nice at 33 PSI all around cold. No choppiness on all kinds of highways and grooved roads. There is some flat spotting with these tires just like any low profile ones but very minor when sitting overnight. No reset needed unless changing the wheels.

I have the Dunlop SP Sport 5100 A/S. Does that change your recommendation?

Hey guys, just a note that in Canada, only the Luxury and Technology packages display the TPMS for each wheel.

As far as I know, the base, Nav, and F-Sport packages only have a "low tire pressure" warning, but no location.

I imagine the US may be similar.

EDIT: For those outside of Canada with different packages, I'm presuming that if you have anything above the "regular Nav" package (aside from F-Sport) you probably get this. So if you have any of rear climate control, wood trim, ML, blind spot warning, HUD, etc.
