I'm curios to know: do other competing brands have similar concierge service that Lexus have (enform-safe connect)? I really appreciate that service and I would miss it...

Great post, and very helpful for those of us who move back and forth between bands. As I said in an earlier post, two things kept me from trading my S5 Cab for an A7... unacceptable road noise and a really poor Bose sound system... both of which have been continually mentioned on the Audi boards. Sure, for $6k more one can get B&O, but the the car gets ridiculously expensive... kind of like buying the nicest house in the neighboorhood. Not a great investment.

Re: the 535i GT, yes it is a weird looking car, but then what isn't these days? I've seen great reviews on it. Glad to see you found the right car for you!!

Excuse my ignorance varcity64 but I am not sure what you are asking. I sold the car back to the dealership and walked away. I didn't purchase another vehicle until 30+ days later cause I had to order it. Did I lose money.....yep!

when you bought/leased the GS that you eventually turned in you paid sales tax.
after you returned it someone in this thread ( i believe romni) suggested you try and get that sales tax back.

this poster was wondering if you had in fact done that or tried to do it.

Put it this way they returned the money I paid for dent and ding protection but other than that, I received no money back. They were the recipient of MY money. But like i said in an earlier post, it was well worth it.

they don't get to keep the sales tax you paid, that goes to the state.
therefore i believe you would pursue a different avenue to recoup that tax.

might want to check with your CPA if you care enough about it.

Must definitely will as it had fallen off the radar until now.
