Price thread - what kind of deal did you get?
#541
Have not brought up trade yet (will do so after negotiating car price). Price has no dealer add on's so off of factory invoice. The one I'm leaning towards is the base car with premium, nav, parking sensors so right around the 47K range after 1500 off. Wish there was a way to get the conquest as well but sister who drives a Mercedes obviously has a different address!

What is the list price of the car? We have the same car in AWD and the list price was $56,000. Please let us know the list price on the Lexus sticker and you are saying you are getting the car for 47K without the conquest rebate?

Here are the list prices for our car. I have posted what we paid above.
Again, if someone wants to post list prices and what they paid it is helpful. When people post I got mine for x dollars under invoice etc. it is useless info. Where are you getting the numbers from and if you got a good deal why don't you just list the actual numbers?

I got a smokin deal on my brand new GS F Sport, Nebula Gray with Cab interior, fully loaded except heads up display and night vision.
MSRP $57,699
I got it for invoice at $52,699 - $2000 due to the dealer mistake thinking that they could give me $2k because I owned a lexus before. It's actually for owners of other premium cars (mercedes, bmw) who are buying Lexus.

I don't get it. Why people insist on telling us what a great deal they got at $x,xxx under invoice. Just what is that supposed to mean? Where are you getting the Invoice Price from and who says it is the real Invoice Price? If you got such a great deal why don't you give the list price and what you paid?
My experience has been that most people who talk about under cost, blah, blah, blah. are just trying to impress people and have no idea what they really paid. Usually they bought other add-ons, expensive finance rates, got ripped on their trade-in, etc. and conveniently forget to mention this.
DAMUSICGUY, in the midwest they are giving $1,500 to owners of competitive models and this is only if you finance at least $10K for a minimum of 3 months.
We also had to show a copy of the title to prove we currently owned a competitive Model.
Is the competitive rebate different in other parts of the country then in the midwest?
