If it it pointless to argue and better to wait for the reveal then why were you trying to convince others that the GS looked like a Hyundai?
If we remove the rear plate of MANY cars on the road, they'll instantly look 10x more awkward, it may be the same in this circumstance.
I'm not trying to convince anyboby here. I'm just showing what I see, nothing more and nothing less. If you or others see it diferrently, I have no problem with that. After all, it all comes down to personal prefs. likes and dislikes
Well, this is a little disappointing...I'll comment again when the good pictures are released, but so far it's underwhelming. Front end is nice, rear end is not bad. That side profile hurts, especially the rear window kink.
And I am pretty much sure 996 wasn't popular because Porsche owners are a bunch of conservatives. 996 tried something different and that's why I like it but they got scared so they gave us 997 which looks like a predecessor to 996.
Yes the main major reason the 996 wasn't popular is because of the non-traditional headlights, but I am sure the Boxster having the exact same front end didn't help anything.
Where has all of the brilliant designing from the late 1990s and early 2000s gone? Does Lexus really expect to compete with the European elites with this garbage?

Guys, this is my SIXTH warning about knocking off the comments about the people posting in this thread and keeping on the topic of the 4GS. I recognize you may be obscuring who you are talking about and not calling someone out directly but its the same issue. Keep the conversation here polite and mature, whether you like the 4GS or not.
I've just created the new 4GS forum and will open it up during the PB launch. People that persist in ignoring these requests / warnings will not have access to that forum
