Question Ballast question GS350(2014)

Hello,

I was replacing HID bulbs when I noticed that one of my ballasts have a burn. I have to buy a new one, should I 100% get OEM one, or are Auxito ballast any good? This one for example: (https://www.ebay.com/itm/35834340397...CModel%3AGS350)

Stick to OEM if you can but its worth considering the condition of the car, the cost of the OEM ballast, and if an aftermarket will get you by just long enough.

What kind of a light bulb did you have before this happened? Was an OEM HID one or something else?

Previous owner put Taiwanese bulb in it, That might have caused the burn. The other side was fine though.

My ballast in 3GS cost over $1k to replace OEM.
Changing the bulb would not fix it.
