Weird TPMS Problem
After 3 days straight of warmer temps at startup (SAT-SUN-MON) and working fine, THIS morning ambient Temp was back to around 45 degrees & guess what?
Back to dashes.
As you state BC, Definitely one or more of the batteries in the TPMS sensors is marginal... just don't know which one(s) are the culprit at this point.
Put off my appt at the dealer this week as morning temps are a bit inconsistent (High & low) this week.
Next week we're due for a cold snap so that's when I'll leave it with them overnight to make sure they can duplicate the problem and find the problem sensor(s)
Thanks again for all the input !

So, are you going to be satisfied if just one of the four TPMS sensors is replaced?

You seem to finally be convinced the age of ALL FOUR TPMS sensors is triggering at least one of them to be marginal and unable to send a strong enough signal in a constant state for the readout to display properly.
So, why not replace all four TPMS sensors? If you only replace one - it's just a matter of time before the others will fail. They are all made and date coded the same, and installed when new on the assembly line.

@charley95 - Have you moved to South Carolina yet?
Looking forward to driving the GS through the mountains in North Carolina.

Few more weeks BC. Sold my place here in the first 4 hours it hit the market and bought a new townhome down there with an oversized 2 stall garage. I just can't understand why everyone is leaving my state!?

As I mentioned, the only reason I would only have the failing sensor replaced is because of the Platinum VSA.
Extended warranty would only replace the failing component unless the dealership can advocate with them to replace all of them at the same time.
I doubt LEXUS would do that though,
I understand your logic, but the warranty in place changes the strategy you are suggesting.
Does it make sense for me to pay out of pocket to replace the other sensors?
I'd say no and think you would say the same.
My warranty is good until June 2028 so I'm covered still for a while if the other TPMS sensors fail within the next 2.6 years.
If I had no warranty in place, totally agree and I WOULD replace all 4 at the same time.

In addition, if the tires were approaching halfway to when I normally replace tires, I also would replace all four tires, but again that's just how I am about such things.
I want things completely done right, not half ***. Something that is done half *** pisses me off bigtime and drives me bat **** crazy!

Left the car overnight at the dealership Monday, Tuesday morning with the cold temp, the faulty sensor finally revealed itself thankfully, The pass side rear was the culprit.
It was replaced under PLATINUM VSA extended warranty at no cost.
All working normally as it should now !!!
Got until June 2028 for any more of them to fail.....
