Default Electrical shut down when press start button

Hi guys. I ran into an issue with my 2014 Gs350 F-sport. My car electrical will shut down when i press the start button. I mean completely shut down the whole car. It had happen 3 times already since Saturday night. I just bought a new battery from Costco 2 days ago so not a battery issue. I have to discharge both + and - wire from the battery and wait for at least 15 mins for the system to reset and i can start the car again for every time happen like this. Has any one had the same issue and know how to fix it ? Thank you

For this type of problem, its best to shell out 50-100 dollars for a mobile mechanic to swing by and diagnose it. I wouldn't waste my time digging deep and fix if permitted by what I can see on the surface(like an obvious burnt out wire or suspect causes of prior work)

Interesting can you clarify what you mean by discharging each wire?
Is the navigation screen also doing something different or strange when these events occur?
Are the leads to the battery properly tightened?

Have a Battery Load Test done to your new battery. Not voltage, but cranking load test. Also make sure you got the correct spec battery for your GS.

@ktltn04 - What do you think should happen when the car's engine and electrical system is operating and you press the Start/Stop button?

Stop = Completely Shut Down the Whole Car

STOP means STOP!

Stop (noun): Cessation of movement or operation....
