Has anyone had an issue with the material on their door panel getting wrinkled? Aside from getting a new panel have you found a way to smooth it out? I talked to a vehicle upholstery professional and was told they cannot replace the material because it is glued to the door panel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂.

This seems to be a common problem across a lot of Toyota/Lexus models. I'm sure you'll be able to find an upholstery shop to reupholster the door panel, but it'll either be too costly or won't be a good match. I'd try looking for a good used one online.
No real fix for it as others have mentioned. It has come up quite a bit over the years on the 4GS sub-forum. The common fix is to get the door panel replaced. A few previous/helpful threads and posts:
