Hey guys! I have owned my '13 GS 350 for 8 yrs now and noticed a vibration. It turns out I had 3 bent rims 🙁. I bought new wheels and decided to stick with my GS's luxury edition wheels but had them PVD-coated in black chrome. What do you think?
Black Chrome looks good. Also put some Ceramic wheel coating, and wax on the wheels while they are newly finished to keep the brake dust and acid from eating into the wheels so you can wash them and keep them looking new. Especially the fronts and in the corners.
@New2Lex17 those do look good on your obsidian GS - i recall the lux pkg 2013 had a brighter silver finish and some 2014/2015 AWD lux pkg's came with a darkened grey finish on those same wheels. If a 5GS ever came out, I imagine a black chrome like the finish you're now rockin' would be the modern day look
Oh heck yeah! Beautiful! Looks fantastic. Now you get to agonize on how widow tint or chrome delete may change the look…or maybe that’s just me! That color with those wheels = perf!
Since you have the bit of window tint, I say black chrome. The regular "chrome" (My lux wheels are silver) looks good too, but it definitely gives your car a more sporty/mean look.
LoL @ Lanson"s curb comment 🤣. I'm really careful with parking. I have small convex mirrors and use the auto adjust sideview mirror function as added protection when parking. I appreciate the luv, Lanson 👊🏼.
@AJLex19 My car is the Luxury edition and it came with the chrome wheels. They lasted a while until I moved to a winter climate with salt on the roads and tons of pot holes 😔
