The lens cover on my left side headlight cracked, as well as a plastic tab that holds it place to the body.
Can I just buy a lens cover, and also the plastic base. TIA
Yes you can, it is not simple at all. I bought a set from ebay for some factory GS450h Triple beams to replace them. I started to do the replacement myself and noticed that Lexus seals them much better and different than a lot of other car companies. Thus it was very, very difficult to remove and reseal correctly. I ended giving them to a Headlight specialist shop and paid them to do for me.

I'm surprised they were able to remove the lenses the glue used is super hard and doesn't seem to react to heat.

I would think if you were worried about cracking the original lens it would be pretty difficult, but breaking it into pieces seems like it would be easier. Also, if I remember correctly Lexus’s sells something to replace broken tabs.

I see you know what I'm talking about. Yes it is very hard, and why I gave it to a shop who has done Lexus headlight before.

It's the sealant that's the problem. The Tabs are on the back black plastic. They have nothing to do with replacing the front clear lens.

Not sure if this is the right part but if it’s the tabs for the headlight to body of the car I thought there is an oem replacement. Maybe this one? 81193-30090

Ok I see.

Thing is still have to separate the Lens from the black rear housing to correct the cracked lens. You are correct about the Tabs, I had to buy 2 and replace on the wrecked car GS450h I got the factory triple beams from.
