Damaged front parking sensor and now the master warning light, not check engine, is illuminated. The message in display center does indicate parking sensor issue so assuming it is that and not something else. Would a malfunctioning headlight also trigger the warning?

I would think the Master Warning Light is only illuminated to indicate something is amiss with lighting, but if the message you were given addressed a parking sensor that you know had been damaged, then maybe the Master Warning Light is triggered by either or both...
When the parking sensor was damaged, was a headlight also damaged in the same event?
Yes, was just informed that headlight was damaged. So setting aside the parking sensor issue, the warning light is something that would commonly be triggered if only headlight was inoperable?

Hoping you don't have any body damage to deal with...
Well certainly the bumper cover, parking sensors, but not fenders. Before I went to shop, I scanned codes and only thing it showed was parking sensor. Also showed something that it always has shown which some message about the auto start/body module. I checked the function of the auto start and it worked as it always has.
