Gs350 ID code box in sleep mode
Has anyone had this happen? I replaced the steering column due to a lot of play. Attempted to start the vehicle with the used lock actuator etc, car did not start. I was told I had to use the original actuator and small black box from the original column. I again put the original parts back but still won’t start . A tech at Lexus said that the ECM maybe locked out. What are next steps without going to Lexus . I tried to reset but keep getting a failed message .

@Rick06 - Unfortunately, I think you probably bricked it - if the ECM locked out, it essentially made starting the car no longer possible.
