Default Replacing water pump

When replacing my waterpump I broke a bolt off. I got it out but I need a replacement. 10mm. Just wondering If anyone knows where I can get one bolt or the whole set. Mounting bolts

I would bring the head and bit you removed to Fastenal, tell them the application, and they should be able to help easily. (Lemme guess, M10x16-20mm with a flanged hex-head?)

Or go to Lexus and ask about getting one. Take a picture of the specific place it broke from... a very clear one from a bit of a distance so other items on the engine can be located in the exploded views.

Either way, when installing steel bolts (er, anything) into aluminum, if you don't want to snap them off again one day give them a LIGHT (Read; change its color, not it's dimensions) coating of antiseize and that'll keep it from, well, seizing.

Why did you mess around with the water pump?

the bolt can be purchased at either toyota or lexus dealer, more than likely needs to be special ordered. or if your area has a nut and bolt shop you can just easily buy one off the shelf.

You can see the part number in the parts Lexus website, depending which location it is. Example for a 2018 below
