I just bought a 2016 GS 350 with 96K miles. The car seems in great shape, but not much service history came with it. At 7 years old and almost 100K miles on it, I think it's best to go through everything change all of the fluids, antifreeze and spark plugs.
I do all of my own repairs, I even have a 2 post lift, but I've never worked on Toyota's or any other Asian Imports. What's the best source of service data for this? Any PDF manuals out there? If not is there a good manual to buy? or do I need to pay for Mitchell or All Data subscriptions?
A few days of the subscription to TIS and some keyboard shortcuts and you'll have the entire manual.
However, if you're already using a two-post lift and you're pretty much good to go with your own DIY setup if you simply have a PC station in your garage you can just subscribe for 1 day or few days (I think there's a 4 for $75 deal too?) at a time when you actually perform major work BECAUSE the manual contains links through TIS to navigate to other sections. If you download the manual in PDFs then the links are broken and you'll be navigating manually.
Basically, what do you want to deal with when you have the car ready to work on?
Hate paying by the day, but if that's the best option, I'll do that when I need to fix something. I like to have the resource available ahead of time so I can read up and learn, but...
