I looked in the owners manual but it didn't say anything about it

If this is on when you unlock the driver door it will unlock all doors at the same time. Off, you would have to hit the unlock button on the drivers door to unlock the other doors.

To clarify, if the drivers door is unlocked via opening it with the inside handle, or you manually unlock it by the tab, all doors will unlock.

 

Does your GS350 autolock above a certain speed?

 

I set mine to autolock whenever i shift out of P

 

Eh....I read somewhere certain year gs350 doesn't auto lock due to some stupid legal case, mine included.

 

The setting "Auto lock by speed" is turned off in your picture. Maybe your GS has a logic bug? Because you DO have auto lock when shift from P selected to ON already.

Ok, confession here. I don’t really know how to unlock all the doors, so when my wife and I are going somewhere, I grab my door handle, open the drivers door, then unlock all the doors with the button inside the door. And yes, before you make fun of me, I did know how to program a VCR. Oh wait, half you people don’t know what a VCR is…..

 

Pretty sure non of them know what a Betamax is🤣

It looks like something my Great-great-great grandfather might have had 'back in the day'.

 

@Hues10 - You should go to your LPS (Lexus Personalized Settings) to have all the doors unlock when you grab the driver's door handle from the outside. Then your wife won't have to wait for you to fumble around with the button inside the door.


Is this your VCR machine with a tape tangled-up inside it?

 

Yes, my auto lock by speed is turned off. I would prefer it to just lock when I shift out of park. I think you mixed me (OP who sent the picture) up with user name "4GS350" who said that his car doesn't have auto lock

 

Also lol all of y'all with the VCR/Betamax/whatever else make me feel so young! The only thing I know how to use is my smartphone
