Default 2018gs350

2018GS 350 F sport I searched the following carfax reports for this car, and found that the first title is commercial (almost 20,000 miles in one year). Is there any problem with this? The price is nearly 36k, doesn't it feel particularly cheap?

It just means the vehicle was titled or registered to a company for business purposes, in lieu of an individual person owning it. That's probably a good thing with the majority of miles being easy highways miles and a businessman or woman driving the car instead of some wild buck drifting it on Saturday nights and making mods on Sundays!

The price looks fair if it's in excellent condition, which it likely is.

Tell the seller

Wide awake on Sunday morning at 6am and had nothing better to do, I decided to take a look at the service history @ the Lexus Owners website. If you haven't joined, it's free and you can look through the service history.

You will find some items in there that may or may not be important to you regarding this vehicle.

Also, going by the Carfax, I am thinking this GS was a courtesy vehicle for the first 4500 miles or so.

Thanks. The maintenance records of this car are relatively comprehensive. There may be more people driving as a courtesy car.

commercial means absolutely nothing lol. all my cars used to be registered under commercial insurance to save money. people that write off cars in taxes register them as commercial as well

Yes was my 1st thought when I saw the thread a few days ago. It's nice but not nothing special to make it $40k nice. Personally I would rather have the rare to find 16+ Lux with low miles.

I searched in detail, and the prices of GS after 2016 with lower mileage are still high. Maybe now is not a good time to buy a car.

It's 36k not 40k. OTD is different in all states, I never look at OTD when buying. Not sure what they go for now, but MMR is about 34k for that car.

He said $38.5k. I can read. That's like $40k in my book. You also can't put an exact valuation yourself less you look at the car and know exactly what equipment, paint, body, interior, tires, brakes, condition is.

Right now only I can see is Carfax. It shows 50,000 mile service done in the past year, and the brakes were replaced at the same time. I need check in person. lol If OTD is 36k, I may buy it without hesitation.
