Default Finally fixed rattle!

I've had a rattle coming from the glove compartment for awhile now. Whenever I opened the glove compartment door, the rattle would go away. I finally got around to sticking a self-adhesive bumper where the latch is, and voila, no more annoying rattle.

Do you have a pic where exactly?

I tried wrapping the latches themselves in fabric tape, and that only helped, but didn't fully eliminate. On rough roads, you'll still hear a rattle, as if coming from within the door itself. Seeing how it operates, I'd imagine it's the latch arm rattling inside or something.

Also, I bought these bumpers from Home Depot:

You can still open the door back up like that? And is this the annoying glovebox vibration rattle that happens on rough roads?

I have the same rattle, determined the exact same was needed to fix it. Even have had the sticky felt in my amazon cart ready to checkout for a while. Glad to see that fixes it.
