Post HUD, Android Auto & Triple Beam Questions

Looking to become an owner of a Lexus and heard wonderful things about the GS line. I've been looking at 2019/2020 GS 350 F Sport and had some questions I hope the community can answer for me.

1. Do some GS 350 2018-2020 models have HUD? The ones I'm looking at don't mention HUD on their features so I'm curious if some have and if some don't.
2. Is Android Auto included or would it have to be an aftermarket purchase?
3. I know GS-F comes with triple beam LED headlights, what about GS 350s? I ask because all GS 350's within a 200 mile radius do not come with triple beam LEDs only the single. If they don't, would I be able to install aftermarket or is it not recommended?
4. I know the GS line has been discontinued since 2020 but does that mean say five years from now because there are no GS cars, the parts will cost significantly more than say an IS or ES?

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Here ya go:
  • Heads up Display is a standalone option. The car would have needed to have this outfitted originally and not many GS's had them - it's a fairly rare option. It was an individual option for all GS350 models from 2013-2020. When viewing interior pics, look for the "HUD" button near to the left of the steering column.
  • Android auto is not available as an option from the factory. This would need to be an aftermarket add-on: Beatsonic and GROM are the two most popular.
  • Just like HUD, the triple beam LEDs were an individual option. Its almost impossible to find a RWD equipped GS350 with Triple LED headlamps. You can install the triple LEDs with some swaps of the headlamps themselves and left/right headlamp ECU's as fellow member @lexus4jess did here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post11222832
  • Toyota uses many interchangeable parts between models in the Lexus lineup. It is unlikely that parts for the GS will become so scarce that prices will increase drastically. Inflation is a different story though...
If you are dead set on HUD and the triple beams with RWD, it will take you a long time to find something. I think the path of least resistance is to potentially look for an AWD model w/triple beams & HUD. Triple beams/HUD can be installed afterward, but require extra $$$, time and energy.

Also, one other note is the RWD F-Sports have bigger front rotors and staggered tire setups that are costlier to replace if you own for the long haul. Hope to see you join the GS fam soon!

I have a 23 ES300h with bi level headlights and wife has a 23 IS350 F Sport RWD with triple beams. It is very very hard to tell a difference at night. If anything the triple beams seem a little less bright but a little more even. But it’s really hard to tell. The triple beams definitely aren’t a big upgrade.

Guy above mentioned cost of staggered tires, yep the rears are definitely expensive. Plus you can’t rotate, which means faster wear plus manufacturers tread wear warranty is typically offered as only half the miles for staggered setups for this very reason. But the wide rears look pretty damn cool when you walk up to the car from the back!
