So, it was the fitbit.

It was all cleared up for another 3days and then it started goofing up again. The fitbit had also shown it had no connection to my phone. So, while I was on the phone I shut down my fitbit and the call was crystal clear.

It's kind of hard getting out of the habit of checking my watch when I hear a text now, but my battery lasts a lot longer without bluetooth on all the time. Maybe I can find an app to automatically schedule the bluetooth to turn on/off, but not a big deal.

Some notes for other people curious, if they even are:
1. If the bluetooth on the phone is not turned on when the infotainment starts up, and then is turned on, the "phone-side" of the bluetooth connection will be made. However, the "media-side" will not. This is quickly fixed by manually connecting via the car in the media screen.
2. If you are using a headset and are connected to the car your phone (at least mine, some other's may not be like this) will prioritize your call connection to be through the headset instead of the car once you've selected it for your first car.

So, yeah, pretty happy. No more smart watches for me either.
