Default 2006 GS430 Won’t Start

Drove my car all day today and just went to go start it and everything comes on as normal but the car won’t crank. There is one click when I push the button and that’s it. All lights come on and everything. Battery is less than a year old. Maybe a bad starter? Just weird how it popped up out of the blue after driving all day.

Is radiator fan kicking on? Then it could be a sign of a bad fuel pressure sensor, that shorts out the ecu. Try disconnecting the battery and reconnect it if it starts.

I've read at least 20 of these "No start" threads in multiple auto forums this past month or two. 9 times out of 10 it's the battery combined with cold weather.

Please provide details on your year old battery...brand, CCA, etc., and also how cold has it been where you are at?

Standard advice: Check the battery fluid level and charge it, out of the car, reinstall and test...or take the battery back to where you purchased it and have them check it.

Turns out it was just a bad ground. Luckily I have an honest mechanic who doesn’t try to upsell anything that’s unnecessary.
