Default Car won’t start

Went out to start the car the other morning & it hesitated when finally starting. Went back into house for 5 minutes came back out to leave for work & it wasn’t running but the dash lights were still on. Pushed the start button to start again and the fan came on & there was no cranking at all. Tried to start several more times & the only thing happens is the fan comes on & the dashboard lights up (no crank or not even trying to crank).

first make sure the voltage on the battery is above 12v.

how old is the battery?? you need a good battery for this car cuz of all it's electronics.

I'm not a scientist so take it with a grain of salt but I think If you're trying to start it on 11 volts or something like that you may risk your ecu and other components as the voltage drops even further when you crank the starter.

probably not the battery though, because if it was getting that low the dash wouldn't even light up.. or it would try to light up and then go dim. The radio wouldn't work. Neither would the screen.

See this. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-fan-runs.html

It might be the fuel pressure sensor or one of the cam sensors disconnected somehow.
