Where is the oil control valve on a 2006 lexus gs300?

 

There are multiple oil control valves, one for intake and one for exhaust on each valve cover towards the front of the vehicle.

Thank you I couldn’t find a video on YouTube or google & it doesn’t say onthe paper I have from going to auto zone getting the check engine looked at it just say replace oil control valve, they may be saying all of them need to be replaced? Idk but thank you I’m going to clean them and see if that does the trick.

 

if you clean them, clean the oil control valve filters as well. There is a metal pipe with a circular end bolted to the valve covers right next to the oil control valves. Inside that bolt is a small filter that you can remove and clean.

Also what codes are you getting for your check engine light?
