Default Replace gaskets bank 2 oil control valve pipe. Stumped!

I was told by Lexus I needed to replace the gaskets for the bank 2 oil control valve pipe as I have had a steady oil leak for a few months now. The gaskets are around $7.25 each OEM and I was told I need 4, but it's a four hour labor time job that was quoted.

My question is can I just replace the ENTIRE oil control valve, wouldn't that come with new gaskets and cut down labor time if I go that route or are the gaskets something separate and even after replacing the entire oil control valve pipe, I still have to tack on 4 more hours of labor time for this fix?

Surely it doesn't take 4 hours to replace a oil control valve, just not sure if what I was told by Lexus needed to be done if I just replace the whole OCV if I can just go that route to try to save myself some dealership labor.

Thank you!

I am going to assume they are talking about the oil control valve on the drivers side as you need to remove the alternator (4 hours? I think not...) to get access to the the other end of the pipe of the oil control valve. There is NO NEED to replace the ENTIRE control valve (does not come with gaskets).

Gaskets (crush washers) I used for my 350 (may need to double check parts if you drive a 250):
2x 9043016012 (single washer, top) ($1.26 from mylparts.com)
1x 9043016016 (double washer, bottom) ($1.21 from mylparts.com)

Thank you so much for your reply! Those are the exact part numbers I needed.

Can you please give me a rough approximation of how long this should take to swap out as I will be taking it to a dealership.

I heard its a lengthy process to get to it on the IS350. Is this true or realistically how long should I be charged for labor on this?

Thank you!

For a Lexus dealership maybe a couple hours or less. I wouldn't consider this a lengthy process (my definition for a lengthy process would be re-sealing the timing cover)...

Here is a DIY of removing the alternator if you want to see what is involved:
