Recently I changed my brakes out all around that was much needed to Power Sport drilled rotors and Power Sport ceramic pads, which all was good.
Afterwards I bled the rear brakes doing a gravity bleed w/Prestone dot 4 max, which still all was well, however when I did the front I let too much air in causing multiple warnings to pop up on the dash and a spongy brake pedal.
So the following day I started the bleed all over starting from the rear passenger and work my way to the front driver, which got most the air out and firmness back to my brake pedal, but all the warnings stayed on the dash and I still have almost no brakes.
Any help is appreciated and unsure where to go from here. I googled abs actuator issues, which don’t seem to be the issue, but any help is appreciated
These cars have computer controlled ABS, meaning you cant bleed the brakes the traditional way. What needs to be done, is with a techstream or a good scan tool if you have one, go under the setting and there you can enter the brake section and release
Next time, you can just use a turkey baster, vacuum out the brake bottle, and simply refill it. It doesnt get all of the brake fluid, and its best to do this atleast 2 or 3 times.
