Default 2007 GS350 P0335 error code

First time posting so thank you in advance for your help. I have a 2007 GS350, around 150K miles on it. It has done this several times, the car will not start when pushing the start button. I will have to turn the car off and on several times before it will start. After it starts it runs fine, no miss fire, plenty of power but the check engine light, VSC light will come on. I scan the system and get a P0335 error code, camshaft position sensor. I have read before that it could be several things causing this so I have so far replaced the battery, key fob battery, gas cap. After I clear the codes it will stay off for a while, sometimes a few days to a month or more. But the car always runs great with or without the check engine light on so I am not sure it is the sensor going bad or something else. Just not sure at this point what else to test to see. Thought I would get some of you guys option on it so any help would be very much appreciated.

So I had a similar problem to what you are having when my fuel pressure sensor went bad.. sometimes my car would start and would run perfectly fine.. but sometimes it would just crank and not start up.. until no crank at all..all the dash lights would come on.. that was it..I guess when a sensor goes out it automatically shuts a computer down maybe to prevent damage.. I'm not saying it's your fuel pressure sensor.. but it does sound like a type of sensor..
