wow huge scumbags! $1,400 just to labour a mount install.
I dont see how they would differ from any other vehicle, the easiest way jack up the front end on jack stands. Loosen all the motor mounts/transmission nuts and bolts on the top and bottom. You want everything loose so you can tilt the engine. You do this by placing a block of wood in between your jack and either side of the oil pan. For instance if you want to replace the driver side mount, jack the driver side of the oil pan this will allow the engine to roll on its other side giving enough space to remove it, if there isnt enough room to remove the mount then you may have to undo the motor mount brackets.

I just searched for you, but this video the mechanic removes the ac compressor. I dont see why he would do that! Maybe to charge the customer extra, maybe the book calls for it? He could have easily loosened up the top brackets and that would have given him plenty of room to remove them. This RWD differs a bit from your AWD, but the basics should be the same. I think my way is easier, and less work. If you place the block of wood on either side of the oil pan and lift it the engine will lean to the other side giving you more room to remove the mount. Like I mention before loose all 3 mounts and see what access you have, after you jack up the engine.
