Hi guys,
I own a 2008 GS350 awd and I'm in need of replacing my motor due to catastrophic failure. I've heard Lexus made some valve train improvements to the 2GR-FSE motor for 3rd Gen GS, 2010 and newer models.

Anyone know if a 2GR-FSE motor from a 2010 GS350 awd can be swapped into my 2008 GS350 awd without needing a newer model ecu or any additional components from the 2010 donor vehicle?
