Default Interior Pillar Fix?

I have a 2006 GS300. The interior upholstry by the seat bealt is loose. It gets worse when I have the window down. Can it be fixed? I see replacements on ebay for not that expensive but I would rather just fix the one I have if possible. Pic below for reference of area. TIA.

Pop yours off and examine the condition of the clips. Check to make sure if theres screws or clips that are loose.

Did car had accident before and that pillar had to come off?

I've been taking apart my GS300 quite a bit recently, and what I
saw was Lexus uses very sturdy connection clips/tabs for these
interior trims/garnishes, and it's pretty hard to break them. I was quite impressed.

I have trouble visioning that seatbelt trim piece coming loose on its own.
I think someone popped it off at one point, and didn't get it put back it securely.

I would pop that off and see if it's installed securely.
If any tabs are broken, you could consider gluing it back in.
That's not something that you'll be removing regularly.

it’s just the fabric that’s loose. The pillar itself is good. Trying to figure out a way to tuck it back in there.

it’s just the fabric that’s loose. It’s not the actual pillar.
