New TPMS sensors
You do not reset new sensors, you have to change the old serial number of each sensor. A good scan tool can allow you access to change the numbers. But if you already mounted new sensors in the tires, and didnt snap a pic of the serial numbers. Then you will need another tool to wave infront of each sensor, this tool reads the serial id of the sensors. Once you have those 4 different numbers, you can use the scan tool and log them in. Most cheap scan tools do not have access to tpms, if you do not have this. Probably best to take it to a big name tire shop, they should have the sensor read tool and a good scan tool to code the new sensors.
Can you set the threshold to zero? And just keep the sensors in your trunk?
