I just bought a used GS 300... just want to say thank you for all the useful information I’ve been able to gather from using the forum search
I’m trying to change all my headlights to be bright white. I saw in another thread someone posted their car headlights and said they used these lights to make all their headlights (low beam high beam fog lights) white lights
What I’m trying to do is get the high beam, low beam and fog lights all bright white matching lights
Can I order 6 of those bulbs on ebay and switch them all out or do I need specific bulbs for each type of headlight? Sorry for noob question I’m just getting into car mods and I’m trying to do all repairs/upgrades by myself
I got ds4 6000k morimoto for the top and 9006 6000k morimoto for the Foglights.... vled 194 5000k bulbs for the parking lights and 9005 Las fit led for the Drl lights with a canbus box ..

You do need the d4s to change out the low beams, 9005 for the high beams and 9006 for the fog lights. The ones you posted won't work in any position except for the city lights housed with the high beams.

Thank you for the response. So how can I make sure that the lights will be the same brightness for the d4s, 9005 and 9006? Should I match the luminosity for each different type of bulb as well as the brand?

if your on a budget
the morimoto (d4s)bulbs on xenondepot.com
are $55
The foglight (9006) and drl (9005)are $30 each pair
lastfit led on eBay.com
the v-led.com (194) parking lights are $20 for the pair so to do all your lights for the front is alittle over $135 with is nothing since my Foglights hid alone cause me close to $200 with the dual relay
harness kit..!! I went all name brand cause once you go cheap it get expensive and annoying in the long run.. Free install on all part (DYI) so do what I suggested and you will be happy have the brand above posted 2 years since no issues yet (knock on my wood steering wheel)
I will send you pics in a few days don’t know about the quality of it since it a phone camera!!

good luck on your choice!!
Thank you for the detailed post really appreciate it. Are you saying that the headlights you suggested are of cheap quality and that I’ll run into problems? Or have you been using all those lights and no issues? Also, are all the lights you listed above exactly the same color/brightness when turned on?
These are the brands I use beside the last fit led for the Foglights cause my is morimoto HID fogs
but I have the lasfit led drl and they are super bright and so far so good and matches like 95% cause led and hid gives a different hue so to say!! Tbh when you put the high beams on with the led it will blind you which looks like Christmas white lights I approve of these brands and also they warranty all the item I said before so if your not happy you can get a free full refund if your not happy! I lm gonna post pics but in person it’s looks like 100% match in pics it’s hard cause of glare but if you know a way I can send you pics better lmk!!
trust me I wanted everything to match so what I have now was labor stress and trials to get it to my liking.... 1000% all six lights in front matches perfect!!
I didn't know mirror courtesy lights were replaceable. But I think I would fear breaking the mirror if I try and these aren't crucial.
I use Osram CBIs as xenon bulbs, OXILAM LEDs for the turn signals and Sylvania ZEVO 194 bulbs for parking and marker lights.
The problem with small LEDs is they don't spread light enough that it will fill up the reflector entirely. I let them nonetheless because it is still nicer than halogen bulbs and not very important. They do great as marker lights though.
What we don't see is despite being advertised as 6000K bulbs, the CBIs seem to be more of a 5000K and don't match my LEDs. I didn't take very good pictures but it is -2°C with a strong wind I couldn't stand being outside for long while changing my camera's settings.

the vled led 194 fill ups my whole parking light housing.... and replacing the puddle lights on the Mirrors is super easy it just moving your mirrors all the way down and you see the screw and unscrew them like two-three turns and the bottom of the mirror housing will come lose to install the led bulbs
You made a point. I looked them up and they are the first wedge bulbs I saw with LED chips positioned at 360° around the cylinder. No doubt it will cast more light and more efficiently.
I noticed however the approach lights light up gradually, which will not be possible with and LED. I like this effect so I'll keep the stock bulbs. Recent Mercedes, Audis and Lincolns do this with LEDs but that's a more complex bespoke system, I believe like a home lighting dimmer.
