I think DVDs can only be played when you have the Mark Levinson system. By the way, where are the tweeters on the front doors? I only have a medium speaker in front of the cubby on each front door.

Yea me too, just a single mid in the front doors... Still, I can't believe how it sounds, so the ML systems must be amazballs!
OK, I just understood your previous message which said they are on the dashboard, which is the case. And yes, this is why my next GS will have it because as a music enthusiast, I really want to know what it sounds like, along with navigation and a back-up camera.
I'm trying to find out how the GROM VL2 connects to the nav screen for video input, if that was solved, then you might have a good option for how to get a video into your screen.
I highly doubt you'll be able to do anything useful with what you called the GPS doofer, as it's probably a toll device used in Japan (Probably best to remove it to clear up your glovebox)
What are you wanting to use the video input for?

LOL where do I start hahaha. I think initially maybe just a Raspberry Pi but maybe a Windows car PC not 100% sure yet what I am doing but getting the groundwork done for the inevitable input required. Traffic drone display 😂
Actual reasoning from my initial thought would be a 4 way data slicer hanging off a radio that can show me sensitive data transmitted by fire ambulance police etc. Just a personal interest thing.
Cheers guys, another clue which is good. That will at least give me some wire colours and a usually pretty easy to pick up the video lines with sheilding and so forth if it's typical. Will have a better look at this sometime soon.
I know this is an old thread but there's a high chance you can install an aux input, especially being a JDM model.
Most of the time there is a spare socket on the TV tuner, usually located in the boot (trunk) on the drivers side inside the rear quarter. From Japan you can buy what is known as a VTR adapter which plugs into this socket and gives you RCA inputs. On your TV tuner screen there is then a button, often called "VIDEO" which switches to this input.
