Lexus GS300 2006 blown Subwoofer replacement
Hi guys
I have 2006 Lexus GS300, It has a blown subwoofer in the rear. i have contacted the wreckers and they are asking too much money for a used sub, pop out form an old car.
I am thinking to put an aftermarket one.
Please advise which subwoofer best fit in there. I already took out the blown one, but not sure what size/watt/ohm should I purchase.
Stock sub part number is: 86160-0WC40
Thanks

You can try to fix it yourself or take it to a speaker repair shop.

Actually I am in Sydney Australia. and shipping cost and conversion make it much to better buy a new one.
So just any one have any idea if they replace it and what size and ohm are suitable, if any specific make and mode of the sub, then it would be highly apreciated.
Thanks

Here is a used one off ebay, this show you the backside of the speaker. It appears to be just a standard speaker. Maybe you can remove your old one, and if you have any used speaker laying around in your house you can test it to see if any sound comes out of it. If it does you can just measure your old speaker, and order a brand name that you like
