Affected by wind from trucks?
Anyone's GS affected by the draft off semis? My 08 GSh seems to get pretty disturbed by the wind coming off a semi when I am coming up on a semi. Once past I am fine, no issues.
Replaced the ball joints and tie rods, steering feels better, but car still doesn't seem to like to be stable near semis. It tends to feel like it is getting shaken left/right.
My 2GS4 it was the rack bushings, but I can't seem to find a listing for rack bushings on the 3GS.
Anyone see anything similar?
Stock wheels, alignment good.

Can't say that it's worse than any other car I've driven that's a similar size. Then again, I do have a tendency to punch it in the lane farthest from the truck to avoid being behind or next to them. Is it worse on specific freeways? Because back when I lived in Seattle, the I-90 floating bridge would toss you around no matter what vehicle you were in, and the trucks definitely made it worse; however, there wasn't much of an issue anywhere else. Could just be the way the crosswinds are hitting both vehicles... I'm no pro on the matter, however. Will be nice to see what others say.
Tire psi is the first thing I would check, also when a semi passes does the car push with or without steering movement. It could possibly be you self correcting the steering wheel, with out you realizing.
There is a bushing on the front lower A-arms in the rear big massive bushing did you replace that? If so I would, they are common to go out, but they usually do not show signs of wearing. I had an issue with un-even roads the car would track badly and with me firmly holding onto the steering wheel the car would rock side to side. Once I easily replaced that bushing myself and had it aligned the suspension firmed up and fixed my issue. The part is cheap at the dealer or ebay under $100 its been several years but I think I swapped it out with barely lifting the car off the ground and left the wheels on. I did have to align it right away as my wheel alignment was way off.

These are the bushings, also seems like price went up a bit on them.

It is noticed so far primarily on I90 in Chicagoland area east and westbound. It IS a grooved highway (4 years old) so I do keep wondering if that is the real issue. Its just a buffeting feeling. Doesn't seem to affect wheel much at all, but you do need to hang on as the car will start to move from the lane position if the wheel is let go.
I will look at the lower control arm bushing, it is worth a good look. I tend to keep cars for a long time so replacing with a new one after 114k can't really hurt. My 2GS4 the Control Arm Bushing #2 is commonly like that, looks ok but causes vibration issues at speed because it starts to toe out as the load gets higher on it. Worlds improvement changing it. Ill probably change them just because.

This sounds a lot like it. And hitting a pavement line in the where 2 pieces of pavement meet the car will track on one of them and pull the wheel.
