Default Just dropped it off for that transmission work

Finally, I dropped off the GS-350 for that transmission work. No problems, but I would like to keep it that way. But it is cold and raining...and the battery was dead because I have not been driving it enough.

We also had to pay an additional $1K for some service not covered by the warranty. We have another grand to pay for advisable (but not mandatory) service: new auto transmission fluid and oil for the differentials and a new set of mats.

It is a great car and I hope we get 10 or more years of moderate driving out of it. Maybe 15 more years (which would be 100K more miles).
