Default Spherical bearing/knuckle bushing

Hey y’all ok so I had to do my rear axle and noticed leaks and cracks. So I order new arms or lateral links and having issues with the bushing in the knuckle. Seen a few online that look similar some said it does fit then put my model and then says it does not. Any help or tips on where to find this part or part number? Don’t wanna get a whole knuckle lol. Did a search on here as well still left a little blank. I also included the parts I order. If possible lmk if I was correct? Thank u guys in advance.

Your third pic is of the rear chamber bar, if your are lowering then I would suggest you get some aftermarket adjustable ones.

Ive run this brand for over 5 years with not issues with them. A bit pricey, but they are solid!

That duralast ca5011 is not correct, you will want to order the top the duralast part number is CA5082

But just to confirm, this is the very top arm on your rear suspension.

They are the same part for both sides

What do you mean the one that comes straight down?

It's either FIGS, some unknown ones off of eBay, or a new knuckle. There is a poly (yes, that apparently works) version for the 1IS/2GS platform from RankOne, other than that it's again either FIGS or random eBay units of unknown quality.'

I'm starting to wonder if a knuckle off of a low mileage IS would be better. The knuckles are stupidly expensive due to them being aluminum.

Don't think the steering rack bushings are the same, if that's what you're asking, I've done almost zero research on this. Daizen makes them for the IS.

Otherwise, yes - from what I've seen (cross-referencing part numbers), all the IS & GS models (2nd and 3rd gen) share the same knuckles, and most (if not all) suspension components are cross-compatible. Before you get any ideas about the control arms, cross-reference and if they don't match... look up the difference if you can - the IS-F for example has had a geometry change for the facelift, and I'm willing to bet that some control arms might be of different length/etc. Most aftermarket CAs seem to be compatible with any of the cars, so there's that... again, do your research

In case you ask about ball joints - I have no clue, if any of the ones on the control arms start looking funny, my plan is to just swap the control arm. Expensive, but failed bushings bang around... failed ball joints tend to straight up disconnect

Ah its a bit of trial and error finding a bushing that will fit. The most important dimension is the press fit diameter.

My brother's G37 has been sitting on jackstands for over a month because we can't find rear lower control arm bushings for it. We had to cut them out because the camber bolt was rusted stuck! Tried Whiteline bushings and the dimensions weren't right. Based on the one removed, we will try another...
