Hello new here to the site and as a Lexus owner. I just recently bought my 08 gs350 awd and so far i am very pleased with the car overall. Yesterday i was under the hood checking out the basics for maintenance purposes and i noticed there was a cable disconnected from the fuel pump resistor leading to the engine. I'm guessing it was for grounding purposes judging by the fittings at each end of the cable, i started to reconnect the cable thinking that because it was not either taken off completely or at least secured with electrical tape at the loose end that it might have been an oversight after someone recently working on car. But then i began to second guess myself (reconnecting cable) because the car is running very well in my opinion so i secured loose end and left disconnected, so my question is does anybody know why this would be left disconnected and should i reconnect the cable?
