Sell as whole or part it out?
What's more worth it? selling the car as whole or parting it out? its a 2006 GS300 AWD fully loaded and has a tanabe exhaust on it wiht 300xxx KM, It's been sitting in my driveway for a while waiting for insurance papers to be done. Runs and starts normal. Long story short, my brother hit a car in front. How much do you guys think I can get out of it?
Virtually nothing selling it as a whole. Plenty to made by parting it out, but it could take years and lots/lots of your personal time dismantling/dealing with buyers/shipping/etc.
Salvage yard will probably give you less than $500 for it. Unless you're a real glutton for punishment, that is your best bet. Too many miles to be worth anything at all to most folks.

The insurance will probably buy your car then sell it to the junk yard. Parting out is too much work. You'll just see it sit on your driveway for months or even years. I would love the exhaust but shipping would be too expensive.
Or I was thinking of buying used parts and and just put it back together and use it as my fishing and winter car lol, what do you guys think the estimate cost would be for used parts. The impact bar is undamaged.
Girls got a lot of kilometers on her, repair it if you can do the work yourself and find used or aftermarket parts cheaply. Of course parting it out is the best return to your money. But do you have the time and tools to completely tear apart the car and place each part online.
This is the 2nd 06 canadian gs300 to get into an accident this month, whats going on over there?

At least a couple of thousand in used parts to make it right, plus a lot of your time.

What's the actual damage? That is, have you taken off the fenders, bumper & hood to assess structural integrity? If the frame itself is not damaged, chances are you might be able to get it running for cheap. I'm guessing the window and airbag will be the biggest expenses. I'm guessing the rad is gone too.
Of course, keep in mind your arrangements with the insurance company.
