P0204 injector open closed circuit
I was driving to work I noticed the vehicle started miss firing to vehicle to the shop shop worker advised me that I had an open closed circuit on injector number 4 he checked the wiring found nothing replaced the ecm and the injector driver and the coil pack on that cylinder still nothing can someone help me the vehicle is a gs 350 2010 AWD with about 150k on the dash vehicle was well maintained
that is the code you get when your injector isn't plugged in or its not working due to lack of power..
replaced injector driver, the ecm?? and this cost how much?
i'd make sure the wiring is good and that the pigtail is on there good. be careful not to snap off the electrical connector on the injector. They are really fragile. if that checks out, swap the injectors around and the code should come up for another cylinder then you'll know if you need a new injector.

figure out if its the injector or the wiring fault. you never said you installed a new injector. why did you change the injector in the first place? did the code come up immediately after changing the injector?
like i said to rule out a faulty injector install your 4th cylinder injector into a different cylinder. I'm sure there is a fancier way through techstream but this will work.
do you know 100% that the injector pigtails are good and actually snap onto the injectors?? Cuz mine are all broken and I had to use plumbers tape to keep them from sliding off.

Wiring might be good until you plug it in to the injector, then the pin sometimes get pushed back out. Make sure to carefully push them back down after they are plugged in or see if it got pushed back up.

Youre throwing parts at it, at hopes of you finding a solution. You need a good mechanic that can diagnose, and properly test the electrical to make sure the power signals are good. Have you tried taking it to the dealer?
