Default Rain sensing windshield

So I'm sick and tired of looking at the crack in the front windshield, called and got a couple quotes on a replacement windshield. A couple of places kept asking me if I have a rain sensor in my windshield or not, how the hell would I know. I have had her for little over a month and haven't driven in the rain yet. How would one tell if I have a rain sensor in my windshield or not? Turn it on and spray water at the windshield and see if the wipers come on?

For testing go thru brushless car wash.

Do you have "AUTO" on your wiper stalk? If so, then yes you do have rain sensing wipers.

^^ What he said. On the stalk, it's clearly written AUTO. There are no intermittent setting. There's a slider similar to the one you'd have for the speed of the intermittent setting, but in this case it is to select the sensivity of the rain sensor.

At first when I test drove my GS460, I was wondering why the hell the intermittent setting did not work on the wipers, only to discover that was becasue they were rain sensing wipers
