noticed my GS seemed to have more wind/road noise than it used to, it does have 205k on it. Saw on the LS forum many threads raving about this product "shinetsu grease" it's made by honda and you essentially just rub it in to all of your door and window seals to rejuvenate them. Ordered it on amazon for like 10 bucks and spent about 20 mins getting it on all of them including the moonroof seal, at first only noticed a slight improvement but after a day of it soaking in it's like night and day, my car is MUCH quieter at highway speeds than it was before, actually seems quieter now than when I got it almost 100k ago. Definitely worth getting for any older vehicle as rubber does dry out over time and Is a super cheap thing to do.

that's awesome!

I use Chemical Guys VRP for all my door trim pieces.

HOWEVER, I doubt it would soak in like that stuff you mentioned. For my application, i've done it on the engine bay and the rubber seals around the entire car (after every wash, about 6 months+ in between.... I don't wash my car often due to my school & work schedule), along with the tires.

Engine bay looks exactly like a completely new engine bay (like day 1)! The VRP stuff dries up nicely, and doesn't leave a sticky greasy residue (so it doesn't catch dirt in the engine bay area or the rubber seals or the tires).

I can vouch for Shinetsu grease. I’ve used it many times when I had the Honda S2000, it helped reduce road nose when I had the soft top.

Ive been thinking of doing the same to the GS but haven’t had time. I’ll defibutey do it this weekend!

I've had some sitting in my garage for a couple months now. Might have to actually follow through with something in my life for once. Thanks for re-sparking my interest.
