Default New owner and limp mode

First off, thanks for the add and Im glad to be a part of the forums. I have an 06 gs300 and this is my 3rd lexus. Love these cars. Question is, what have I done wrong?! I bought the car a few weeks ago. It had engine light in, codes stating misfire, fuel pressure, cat below threshold, and cant remember what all else. I replaced the spark plugs and maf sensor. Still had a slight hesitation on acceleration and throwing codes for 02 sensor bank 2 sensor 1. I took the battery out, and the ecu? Under battery since that sensor is a pia to get to. Put it all back together and now wont go over 20 mph. Idle was rough around 300. Let it sit for a few hours and restarted, idle is close to normal but bad hesitation on throttle. Got to looking and 02 sensor is a knockoff brand but relating part number. It doesnt get as hot as bank 1 sensor but is warm. I ordered both upstream oem sensors last night to try to resolve but I have no clue as to what i done.

do you have an obd II scan tool or a bluetooth obd dongle?
what codes are you getting now?
try to reset codes and see how long before they reappear/car goes into safe mode
knockoff o2 sensor will probably throw a code but this alone shouldn't put it in safe mode
most likely culprit is a knock sensor

no, im currently out of state but a buddy of mine has one that he is going to bring over and scan. Its not throwing any codes but he said lecus and toyota are real sensitive when it comes to the sensors. Ive also read if the car cant get a reading on air/fuel it will go into limp mode to avoid engine damage. My new sensors should be in by the time i get back so im hoping that fixes it. Car was fine before the change just had the engine light on from the original sensor so im pprettt certain that is my main problem. Atleast I hope so

Installed new sensors today, problem solved. Now on to a new problem. Since you have to remove the battery and power steering computer to change the sensor, after reinstall my ps light is on and power steering. Is there a fuse to check somewhere? That worked perfectly before.

I think you need to relearn the steering angle sensor. Need the techstream computer to get it to recalibrate
