2006 gs300 awd (help!!)
recently purchased 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD wasn’t working
I changed the battery and put oil in the car and it started up but didn’t sound good. I use the scanner and these came up
(1 code (P0300) Random/ Multiple Cylinder Misfire)
(2-6 code(P0301)Cylinder Misfire Detected)
(7 code (P0356) Ignition Coil F Primary / Secondary Circurt)
(8 code (P0390) Camshaft Position Sensor B Circurt Bank 2)
Anybody have an idea on what I should do, is it an easy fix or should I take it to the shop. I Appreciate any information thank you

Too me it sounds like symptoms of carbon built up cars. The 2006 GS300/is250 have problem with the design of there fuel system. The injectors do not wash the intake valves like a traditional engine. So the intake valves crud up with carbon and it spreads to the rest of the car. If you pop open your intake manifold youll probably see the intake port filled in black soot/carbon. Lexus had a temporary recall on this issue where they rebuilt the engines for free.
Heres what you can do if you diagnosed it as carbon issue. Remove the intake manifold with chemical sprays like berrymans parts cleaner. Spray it inside the runners and with a long hard brush scrub things down. I would also remove the sparkplugs and pour the parts cleaner into the spark plug holes and let it sit for a day. Slap some news plugs and do a seafoam cleaning after and hope for the best

The last two codes are concerning.
The camshaft sensor could be bad, or the wiring, as well as coil F. I would investigate those. Is Coil F? Cyl 6 I guess coil shorted out or disconnected?
These cars have electrical glitches in the PCM, that may be a reason too.
Was the car running fine before?

So I talk to the last owner and he said that it was running fine but that he never check any fluids on the car what so ever. So I’m guessing that had a lot to do with what’s going on.
