Remove seats, scuff plates and center console. This should give you enough space to pull the carrier from underneath the glove box and drivers side for well.

Im familiar with the procedur on the GS300. How do I get the 460 center console out? DO the rear seats just pull up? The drivers and passengers seats unbolt with 10mms on the rails?

If the rear seats don't recline and the seat bottom is one piece there are usually inserts on both sides where you just pull the seat straight UP to release them. I don't have a 460 so I don't know specifics but it can't be much different than other Lexus vehicles.

You usually have to remove the ashtray and side trim pieces, then pop up the shifter plate with pry tools. Inside of the armrest there is a cover in the bottom that comes up and exposes a couple of bolts. The back of the center console usually pops off to reveal some more bolts also. This was the procedure on my LS 460 and should not be too different in the GS. Maybe sometime else will come in though. Until then just have a look at the things that I mentioned.

The GS460 has the same center console than any other GS, except a few more switches because they are often better equipped than V6 versions (****, AVS etc.) but that doesn't make the procedure any different. I remember the screws holding the seats onto the rails are 14 mm. Being 10 mm would make them a tad underwhelmed by their weight + that of the passenger if you ask me You don't want them to snap
