I have noticed that recently after parking on a steep hill selecting reverse, when the transmission and engine is cold, it slips. Even doing a u-turn drive also slips on this same hill then comes right. I read another thread where someone else experienced this same thing. Is this a common problem, a case of the transmission not being filled properly, transmission oil draining while parked on a steep angle for some time, should I idle for some time to let oil pump its way around first?????? Happy to hear if this a common problem or am I in for a big bill. All your advice gratefully accepted.
BTW This Lexus has a full service history by the dealer and has done 76,000 miles

Reason: Correction
I'm about to hit 200k with my 460 and haven't experienced anything similar, maybe the shop didn't use the correct oem fluid or not the right amount? Maybe go to lexus and have them do it
my next maintenance item is to have my transmission flushed at the Dealer. I'm currently at 108k and everything feels smooth. However, preventive maintenance goes a long way. Those have gone to the dealer, what's a reasonable quote for this job? I've read on other threads that $300 - $500 is what one can expect to pay for a transmission flush on a GS460.

Thanks.
I didn’t do a flush but rather a drain and fill at a Toyota dealer and it cost me 130 bucks.
